September 2025 Newsletter

Hello September 2025

Transition time.

As we move into this month,

things will start to change.

Autumn is almost here. 9/22 to be exact.

Eclipse season returns this September, bringing a wave of intensity just before autumn settles in.

September is one of my Favorite Months. Major Life Transitions have happened in some of my Septembers past. One of those passages was in 2013 when I set up for the first time as Spiritual Twist. It was at the Murrieta Certified Farmers Market, I call that market my “Home Market”.

12 years, boy that is a long time. I wonder how many times I have set up and torn down my ez up.

So much I could share about the Spiritual Twist Journey…maybe i will do that sometime soon. Let me get back to the September Newsletter.

Important Days-

First let me say…..

September is National Happy Cat Month

September 1—the first Monday of the month—is Labor Day. Canadians also observe Labour Day.

September 2 starts Rosh Hashanah, a Jewish holiday that marks the beginning of the new year.

September 7 is Grandparents Day this year. Honor your grandparents today—and every day!

September 11 is Patriot Day, held in honor and remembrance of those who died in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

September 17 is Constitution Day. This day celebrates the adoption of the U.S. Constitution, which occurred on September 17, 1787 (just five years before the founding of The Old Farmer’s Almanac, believe it or not!).

September 21 is recognized as the annual International Day of Peace. Observances range from a moment of silence at noon to events such as peace walks, concerts, and volunteering in the community.

September 22 marks the start of fall! This year’s Autumnal Equinox occurs at 2:19 P.M. EDT. On this date, there are approximately equal hours of daylight and darkness.

Here are some just for fun days

September 11: National Hug Your Hound Day
September 13: Kids Take Over the Kitchen Day
September 19: International Talk Like a Pirate Day
September 24: National Punctuation Day

September Astrology
September’s zodiac signs are Virgo (Aug. 23–Sept. 22) and Libra (Sept. 23–Oct. 22).
Virgo Strengths: Loyal, analytical, kind, hardworking, practical. Virgo Weaknesses: Shyness, worry, overly critical of self and others, all work and no play.
Virgo likes: Animals, healthy food, books, nature, cleanliness. Virgo dislikes: Rudeness, asking for help, taking center stage.
Virgo in Sept. your confidence soars on the 2nd. Update your wardrobe on the 19th.The Sun is joined by your ruler, Mercury, on the 2nd, an astrological duo that adds sparkle to your presence. This is your season, which means it’s glow-up time! Expect positive attention, which is sure to level up your confidence. The Lunar Eclipse on the 7th reveals pertinent information about a relationship. Whatever you find out on this day could bring a permanent change. Trust that it’s for the best.
Libra Strengths: Cooperative, diplomatic, gracious, fair-minded, social. Libra Weaknesses: Indecisive, avoids confrontations, will carry a grudge, self-pity. Libra likes: Harmony, gentleness, sharing with others, the outdoors. Libra dislikes: Violence, injustice, loudmouths, conformity
Libra in Sept. schedule appointments with health care practitioners on the 7th. A secret is revealed on the 21st. Quiet time is necessary this month if you wish to preserve your peace. You can find your calm when Mercury joins the Sun in your introspection zone on the 2nd. Once that happens, you may be called to long periods of “me time.” You’re usually a “we” person, so this may feel foreign, but it won’t take long for you to find solace in solitude.

September Flowers The primary flowers associated with the month of September are Asters and Morning Glories. Asters, also known as “frost flowers,” symbolize powerful love, wisdom, and faith, blooming late into autumn. Morning glories symbolize daily joy, love, and peace, with their vines and trumpet-shaped flowers opening with the morning sun.
Stones of September The main birthstone for September is the Sapphire, known for its range of colors, though most commonly associated with blue, and symbolizes wisdom, nobility, and faithfulness. Alternative birthstones for September include Carnelian, a stone of courage and motivation, and Lapis Lazuli, which represents truth and inner power.
September Moons This year, September’s full Corn Moon will peak illumination at 2:09 P.M. Eastern Time on Sunday, September 7. It will be below the horizon at this time, so be sure to watch for it after sunset.
Why Do We Call it the Corn Moon?
This time of year—late summer into early fall—corresponds with the time of harvesting corn in much of the northern United States. For this reason, a number of Native American peoples traditionally used some variation of the name “Corn Moon” to refer to the Moon of either August or September.

The New Moon is on 9/21 and on this day there will be a partial solar eclipse but we will not be able to see it in the United States.

I have attached the Spiritual Twist September Calendar to this Newsletter. I will be away from Markets for a couple of weeks so please catch me when you can. I have also added Art with Dawn on the 26th. If you are interested in knowing more about that email me.

I have also added a video – Listen to at least 5 mins of Tibetan Healing Flute a day and it will help you find a little bit more peace.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks Friends and Family for being a part of my life. I send blessings and love to each one of you everyday.
Take Care,
Love, Dawn
